Our Client , A leading Logistics /Transportation and Petroleum Services Company in KSA – Najran , is looking for Senior Software Engineer

 typically requires 5-10+ years of experience in developing scalable backend systems, AI platform capabilities, or industrial applications. Candidates need expertise in languages like Python, Java, or Angular for web applications, often focusing on upstream/downstream automation, data integration, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Development: Design and build secure, scalable applications and platform capabilities for oil & gas data and AI systems.
• Frontend/Backend Development: Develop responsive user interfaces and robust APIs for internal operational tools, including Angular applications.
• Data Integration: Integrate heterogeneous data sources (SCADA, field data, IoT) for visualization and analysis.
• Code & Quality: Perform code reviews, ensure high code quality, and maintain documentation.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and assist in technical decision-making.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure software complies with local KSA regulations and company cybersecurity protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably within the oil & gas industry or large-scale industrial sectors.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Python, Java, or similar backend technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is highly desired.
• Skills: Proficiency in database management (SQL/NoSQL) and API development.
• Languages: Strong English proficiency; Arabic is an advantage.
