Our Client , A leading Bank in Qatar , is looking for Manager, Credit / Trade Finance Operations to be based in Doha – Qatar

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Manager, Credit/Trade Finance Operations will supervise and manage the entire processing of the following:

All Corporate loans providing investigative, analytical, operational, administrative support to Corporate Banking in line with Group policies and procedures.
All foreign Trade operations (Import, Export, Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Bills for collection).

Job Responsibilities

Set procedures for timely review of all Trade Finance, Corporate loan proposals.
Ensure adherence and consistency to Group's controls and standards, including services to be delivered in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
Review and ensure all necessary procedures/calculations have been taken with regards to Trade Finance, Corporate loans as per conditions stipulated in the Offer Letter or Facility Agreement.
Ensure that all data inputs in the core banking systems are updated.
Handle large volume of inquiries on loan status and balance verifications from vendors, accountants and auditors.
Control and authorize Corporate loans by coordinating, settlement and disbursement of loans.

Job Requirements

Team management experience with good team spirit as well as the ability to work independently using good business judgement.
Possess an understanding of business processes and controls in all Credit/Trade Finance operational areas.
Understanding of Guarantees, Letters of Credit concepts.
Experience in loan servicing industry and understanding of lending principles.
Knowledge of rules, terms and procedures of International Chamber of Commerce.
High organizational skills and attention of details.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to build and maintain strong relationships across all departments.

Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a minimum 8-10 years of working experiences within the Banking environment, with knowledge of Corporate Loans processing and Credit/Trade Operations.
