Position Summary:

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health and stability. This position requires strong analytical and leadership abilities to effectively manage financial activities and provide valuable insights to the management team.

Responsibilities:

1 - Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess company performance.

2 - Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Present financial reports to the senior management team and board of directors.

3 - Budget Management:

  • Manage the budgeting process and work closely with department heads to establish budgets.
  • Monitor budget performance and identify variances, providing recommendations for improvement.

4 - Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Optimize cash flow by coordinating receivables, payables, and working capital management.

5 - Financial Risk Management:

  • Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

6 - Tax Planning and Compliance:

  • Oversee tax planning activities and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and tax filings.

7 - Financial Decision Support:

  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial feasibility.

8 - Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

9 - Vendor and Supplier Management:

  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable financial terms.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with financial partners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or a similar senior finance role in the transportation or tourism industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial Technology, software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
