Our Client , a leading UAE law firm, having offices in Dubai , Abu Dhabi , Muscat and Amman Covering MENA and provide local, regional and international clients with a full business law services, is looking for Digital & Communications Officer

to be based in Amman – Jordan




We are looking for a Digital & Communications Executive to join our Marketing & Business Development team. This role is a great opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual who will be willing to bring new ideas and challenge the existing digital and communications activities. They will play a central role in the ongoing visual identity and articulation of the brand, an imminent website re-build project and leveraging Global’s voice through multi-media channels.


The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years previous experience in a digital, communications, marketing role within professional services. They will have experience and an understanding of social media platforms, website maintenance, content creation, email marketing and analytics. They will be able to hit the ground running and contribute proactively to the upcoming projects. 


Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development, the Digital & Communications Executive will provide support firm-wide across a range of sectors and services.




  • Website: owning and driving content creation and maintenance including creating new pages and sections on ebsite and microsites. Continually working to optimise the content for strong SEO.
  • Intranet: running a fortnightly "call to content" and organising the content creation for our intranet site and the creation of a fortnightly firm-wide email "What’s New?”
  • Social Media: plan and manage the content for all channels including: Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Email marketing: create and send email alerts/events invites/newsletters. Monitor the results and export reports.
  • Analytics: To play an active role in monitoring the analytics for the website and microsites, using Google Analytics and other analytical software as the Firm may purchase. Mending broken links, fixing typos and addressing any other alerts. Carry out regular analytics reporting as defined by Head of Marketing & Business Development.
  • Content creation/ editing: create new and engaging content for website/ social channels/ intranet whilst maintaining house style and “tone of voice”.
  • Administer Digital Budget:  tracking digital spend against the allocated budget.
  • Photography/videography: Manage the relationship with our photographer and/or videographer, scheduling shoots for new staff and interviews with Partners on key topics. 




Technical Skills/Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and best practice
  • Understanding of the legal sector or professional services experience
  • Proven track record of running social media campaigns
  • Experience in setting up and running email campaigns
  • Experience with maintaining a CMS (website platform)
  • Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the following platforms is useful: Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Google Analytics
  • Design skills and InDesign/Photoshop knowledge is a bonus
