Our Client , A Leading Business Group , with Overseas Operations ; Is looking for Country Finance Manager   to be based in Baghdad – Iraq for their Iraqi Subsidiary and reports to Group CFO in Amman

 

  1. Nationality                  Iraqi   , Only Iraqi Nationals to apply preferably who currently reside in Iraq
  2.   Age                            over 40 years old
  3. Language                     English, Arabic
  4. Personality                 motivated, strong , good communication, able to work under pressure, …….etc

 

Tasks will be performed for both companies in Iraq, Manufacturing and Trading :

 

  • Direct and control Finance function and staff to ensure that they are appropriately trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
  • Develop and control the company’s annual budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the company’s managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
  • Produce all necessary statements and reports to enable the accurate measurement of cash flow, profit and loss, stock and debtors etc.
  • Carry out any necessary internal audit reviews and monitor the financial effectiveness of systems and controls.
  • Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations.
  • Develop and monitor all necessary controls to ensure that the company complies with statutory requirements.
  • Recommend any changes necessary to improve the company’s financial performance and financial controls.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the external auditors to ensure compliance and cooperation with their requirements and to provide an effective audit trail.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate arrangements for effective cash management, making payments, collecting receipts, securing banking arrangements, monitoring income and ensuring optimum value to the company.
  • Ensure that the group credit policy is implemented accurately with no deviation.
  • Any other duties that may seem appropriate.
