Our Client , a leading International hospitality and restaurants operator (mainly in Airports)  , is looking for Chief Accountant  to be based in Amman - Jordan

Requirements of the job :

University degree or above, at least 5 years relevant experience in accounting, excellent command of English, MS Office skills, high communication skills, excellent knowledge local financial standards and regulations. 

Highlights of the Job Description

Responsible for carrying out accounting processes and performing month-end closing procedures.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Keeping books and records of the company in accordance with laws and timely pays such legal obligations as corporations tax, withholding and VAT.
2. Ensuring that official documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers, dispatch notes, bills etc.) are accurately recorded and, properly reflected to the financial statements;
3. Preparing reports to be submitted to the management.
4. Performing  month-end closing procedures to prepare the Financial Control Package;
