Position Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide enterprise-wide leadership and be accountable to the Board of Directors for the company's strategy, performance, governance, sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value. The CEO will lead an industrial organization through operational excellence, disciplined capital allocation, market growth, organizational development and rigorous compliance with the requirements applicable to a Saudi public shareholding/listed company.
Principal Accountabilities
• Translate the Board-approved vision into an executable corporate strategy, annual operating plan, budget and measurable enterprise priorities.
• Provide the Board with timely, accurate and balanced reporting on performance, outlook, material risks, major investments and matters requiring approval.
• Deliver sustainable revenue, profitability, cash flow and return on invested capital while protecting the company's balance sheet and funding capacity.
• Lead manufacturing performance across safety, quality, reliability, capacity utilization, productivity, cost, maintenance, supply chain and customer service.
• Establish a zero-harm culture and ensure robust compliance with environmental, health, safety, process-safety and industrial-security obligations.
• Drive commercial growth through market development, customer and product portfolio optimization, pricing discipline, strategic partnerships and selective geographic expansion.
• Sponsor digital transformation, automation, data-led decision-making, innovation, sustainability and operational-excellence programs.
• Evaluate and recommend capital expenditure, acquisitions, divestments and strategic alliances; ensure disciplined business cases and post-investment benefit realization.
• Maintain strong corporate governance, internal controls, enterprise risk management, business continuity and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
• Ensure accurate, timely and transparent financial and non-financial reporting, market disclosures and stakeholder communications in coordination with the Board and relevant committees.
• Build and retain a high-performing Saudi leadership pipeline; strengthen succession planning, capability development, accountability and performance management.
• Advance Saudization, local content, supplier development and national industrial priorities while maintaining competitiveness and technical excellence.
• Act as the company's principal executive representative with shareholders, regulators, government bodies, lenders, customers, suppliers, partners and the wider community.
• Protect the company's reputation and lead the response to significant operational, financial, regulatory or reputational events.
Governance and Decision Rights
• Operate within the authority delegated by the Board, the company's Articles of Association, approved policies and applicable Saudi laws and regulations.
• Support effective Board and committee oversight and implement approved resolutions without encroaching on reserved Board or shareholder authorities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, manage conflicts of interest and promote fair disclosure, shareholder protection and integrity in all market-facing communications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable requirements of the Ministry of Commerce, Capital Market Authority, Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), ZATCA and relevant industrial and sector regulators.
What you'll bring
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
• Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, business administration, finance or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Typically, 18+ years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 7 years in a C-suite, CEO, Managing Director, Business Unit President or comparable enterprise leadership role.
• Substantial leadership experience in a complex industrial or manufacturing business with responsibility for operations and full profit-and-loss performance.
• Demonstrated experience working with a Board of Directors and strong understanding of public-company governance, financial reporting, risk and disclosure obligations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong executive communication and stakeholder-management capability.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
• Master's degree, MBA or relevant executive education.
• Experience leading a Saudi-listed company or a significant division/subsidiary of a listed industrial group.
• Track record in industrial transformation, operational excellence, capital-intensive expansion, localization and digital enablement.
• Exposure to export markets, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations or capital markets.
• Relevant sector experience in chemicals, building materials, metals, packaging, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or another process/discrete manufacturing industry.
