Our client ,  one of the fastest growing Local Qatari Manufacturing Companies is looking for Business Development  Manager  to be based in Doha – Qatar

 

Basic Function: A Business Development Officer is a key position for the company’s sales and representation related works. You'll be involved with the planning, coordination and control of company business sales based on the product specifications and other requirements. Also, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers, passing on customer complains to appropriate departments and to relay customer satisfaction to Top Management.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

Work activities typically involve:

 

  1. To actively advice regarding the creation of the production line, type of machines and raw materials to be used in the pilot production period.
  2. Present our company to potential clients as per target industries and business sectors identified and agreed by the management
  3. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  4. Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  5. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  6. Report to Management weekly/monthly about business market updates
  7. Search and identify new clients who could benefit from our products in a designated segment i.e. Oil and Gas
  8. Expanding the client contact data and brand awareness of the company in the local and regional market scene
  9. Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers through different marketing and technical approaches
  10. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to customers and prospective customers including prequalification of business to key entities and Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for head office on achievements and targets
  11. Secure and renew existing business relationships
  12. Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs by Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  13. Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  14. Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  15. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
  16. To understand and follow the principles, regulation and the values of the company.
  17. To receive, understand and act according in management’s instruction, giving tasks, target and timeline.
  18. Other related tasks as per management directives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. KNOWLEDGE IN STEEL INDUSRTY
  2. EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS CREATION, DEALS AND EXPANSION
  3. BS INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT
