Our client , a prominent Business Group , is looking for Building Manager to be placed in Amman – Jordan


The position supports and assists in the management of the Building in accordance with the company policies, procedures and tenants agreements. The Manager is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the facilities, including business development, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, construction, security, janitorial services, landscaping, etc. The Manager handles tenant complaints and service requests, and must be familiar with the terms of tenant leases. The Manager assists in the preparation of the annual budget, reporting and financial performance of the Building.  the main focus is the tenants relationship and support

Specific Duties

  1. Provide excellent tenant services. Respond to tenant requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner, and generate work orders. Follow-up with the tenant to ensure satisfactory resolution of the issue. Ensure that there is 24-hour emergency coverage for the Building at all times.
  2. Conduct periodic inspections of the building and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and the proper upkeep of the building. Ensure that Building’s agreements and files are properly maintained and kept up to date in accordance with company policy.
  3. Prepare and maintain appropriate tenant lease files, records, correspondence and file notes.
  4. Assist with administering tenant occupancy including providing the new tenant with an introduction letter regarding emergency contacts, insurance requirements, parking rules, access procedure, fire emergency, and maintenance request procedures.
    Become proficient with the company Share Point software.
  5. Coordinate entry of all relevant information.
  6. Establish / maintain Preventative Maintenance Policies and Procedures, Operations Manual and tenant welcome booklet.
  7. Manage resources and expenses in accordance with the established annual budget Be able to handle construction projects, contractors and labor force with good knowledge of managing construction activities

General Duties


Prepare, memos, faxes, emails, maintain files and prepare

  1. reports and other administrative forms.
  2. Maintain office clerical, filing and record keeping systems.
  3. Manage EAB’s staff and coordinate activities.
  4. Establish monthly reports of all activities.
  5. Maintain and update information on Share Point.
  6. Assist in establishing business plans, budget and financial reports.
  7. Maintain adequate inventory and controls of company assets.
  8. Tenant’s contractor coordination.
  9. Coordinate tenant move-ins.
  10. Obtain estimates/bids for required repairs at the Building. Generate and track Purchase Orders, approvals and distribution.

Scope of Responsibility and Authority

Building Manager is charged with supporting efforts in the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well- managed, well maintained building, placing maximum emphasis on positive responses to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs in coordination and conjunction with the company’s goals and objectives.

Other Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from four-year University with two to three years’ industry experience/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  2. 5+ years of directly relevant Commercial Real Estate Property Management experience.
  3. Effectively prioritize and multi-task.
  4. Excellent people skills.
  5. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, managers and clients.
    Dependable & flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  6. Proactive, initiate follow-through.
    Fluency in English (spoken & written) is a must
