Our client , A leading Bank in Qatar is looking for Senior Product Manager /Mortgage Loans, to be based in Doha – Qatar
Job Description:
The Product Manager – Mortgage Loan will be responsible for creating a strategic plan for the product, marketing and sales, with the objective to grow the housing loan business by establishing new relationships and increasing opportunities from existing clients.
The incumbent will manage the retail Housing Loan product portfolio, throughout the product lifecycle, from planning, supervision, to execution in support of the functional / corporate strategies and objectives.
The incumbent will manage cross-functional product development and management efforts of value-added products and services for the retail customer segment, in line with the regulatory guidelines, and internal policies.
The job holder will work closely with the internal stakeholders and industry partners (as applicable) in monitoring market trends/ competitive products, analyzing product coverage / sales efforts, revenue projections, precise product positioning and delivery of marketing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and contribute towards the formulation and management of pricing models and setting of special pricing/ competitive pricing quotes for retail Housing Loan products to support sales efforts
• Liaise with the BIU/ BUs to formulate business plans for timely delivery of product development, enhancements and/or cost reductions based on business / product performance, and market trends, changing customer requirements and corporate objectives.
• Prepare business case/ proposals for new product development, including but not limited to consumer research, budget, costing calculations, timelines, etc.
• Identify ways to generate leads by building new relationships with brokers and developers, finding new ways to reach existing clients, and/or create a new product/campaign or service that is focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the BUs in initiating / conducting surveys and customer/prospect visits to ascertain requirements, and gaps in the respective market segments within the retail Housing Loan market.
• Produce and maintain list of top developers and pro-actively solicit target clients to establish and maintain viable business relationships and revenues. • Work closely with the Marketing section in identification and delivery of marketing content and programs, in support of the retail Housing Loan product positioning and corporate marketing strategies.
• Enhance the existing products within the retail Housing Loan products portfolio by creating incremental value-added features through competitive pricing, convenience and availability.
• Contribute towards the formulation, and implementation of the overall client segmentation strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures with respect to the • Retail Housing Loan client segment, to support the overall functional and organizational business strategy.
• Establish and strengthen relationship with real estate developers in order to guarantee maximum business opportunities.
• He/She shall be responsible for the development / delivery of new, and management of existing Housing Loan products, ensuring participation and buy-in from internal / external stakeholders in terms of product proposal Job Requirements:
• Understanding of market research techniques
• Understanding of product development techniques • Market segmentation knowledge for targeting and selecting clients
Qualification & Experience:
• Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance, and/or Sales and Marketing from a recognized university
• 10-15 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
• Experience in product management / product development role with a strong understanding of the global banking industry
