Our Client , A leading Transport and Logistics Company in the UAE , is looking for Payroll Specialist to be based in Dubai
An exciting opportunity for a candidate with a solid background in Compensation & Benefits to join team in the Dubai branch.
A Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible to ensure all payroll activities are completed with accuracy and efficiency on monthly basis.
General Responsibilities
• Preparation and control of all payroll activities for assigned countries under MENA Region.
• Adhere to payroll timelines and ensure that payroll is processed, and reports are submitted as per monthly timelines.
• Process the end of service settlement of exit employees to settle their dues in accordance with the labor law and company policies.
• Create payroll accruals entries for staff’s benefits like end of service benefits, airfare, leave, benefits and bonus.
• Reconcile payroll accounts on monthly basis.
• Responsible for payment / bank transfers within the payroll process.
• Prepare Pay slips and dispatch to employees
• Coordinate with Finance for pre and post payroll activities.
• Provide support for Company Audits related to Payroll.
• Ensure all invoices related to Insurance are checked and booked on a timely basis.
• Work closely with CFO’s and HR on monthly basis for all payroll and benefits related activities.
Qualifications & Characteristics
• Must possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in processing the entire payroll cycle for UAE or GCC countries
•Strong Knowledge and understanding of GCC labor laws in relation to wages
• Experience with monthly accruals and reporting is an advantage
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
