Our Client , A retail medical leader in Qatar that have a wholesale business, as well as, chain of retail outlets, is looking for HR Manager to be based in Doha – Qatar and reports to CEO
Purpose :
Managing and coordinating human resources planning, recruitment, and analysis activities for the company and ensuring that the implementation according to set policies and procedures. Prepare recruitment and training plans, head hunting when required
Key responsibilities :
1. Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
2. Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
3. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
4. Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
5. Implement learning and development policy.
6. Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
7. Administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes.
8. Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy.
9. Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies.
10. Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc.
11. Carry out new starter inductions.
12. Manage talent and succession planning.
13. Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
14. Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
15. Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organization.
16. Support change management processes.
17. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
18. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
19. Manage the recruitment and selection process
20. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
21. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization, Nurture a positive working environment
22. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
23. Maintain pay plan and benefits program
24. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
25. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
26. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
27. Development of the Human Resources department.
28. Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance
Skills /Qualifications / Experience :
Skills: Communication, MS Office, Management of team, Strategic Planing,
Resource Planning, Training, Head Hunting.
Qualification: Related Certification in HR with 5 years of relevant experience preferably in retail domain.
