Our Client , a leading Telecom Company  , is looking for CEO (Chief Executive Officer ) to be based in Amman – Jordan and reports to Board of Directors

 

Job Purpose

responsible for leading an integrated joint venture in the designing, planning and generating sales activities of B2B/Enterprise segment and wholesales services, ensuring technical expansion while also developing, managing, mentoring the team towards the joint venture strategy and directions. Supporting the Board in setting the strategic direction and performing related duties as assigned by the Board

 

Responsibilities :

 

Administration & Management

 

  1. Builds the company’s organization skeleton and its staff, Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the activities of the staff
  2. Selects professional and management staff; assigns and reviews work of department heads or other direct reports.
  3. Establishes employee performance standards; trains and counsels employees; takes or approves disciplinary actions
  4. Negotiates and administers contracts with service providers and other outside consultants or contractors
  5. Develops agreements, methods and procedures to implement, administer and evaluate company activities and sales results; directs the preparation, review and approval of technical reports and proposals
  6. Oversees and directs regulatory compliance reviews and analyzes performance outcome
  7. Measures to determine company effectiveness; develops process improvement plans and strategies to enhance service delivery; reviews projects metrics and related records in order to assess the progress of key initiatives and to assure effectiveness and compliance
  8. Prepares and administers the annual capital and operating budgets
  9. Establishes, revises and maintains the company/business policies including operating reserves and debit/credit limits
  10. Develops and implements data and management information systems in order to track, plan, and analyze various programs, customer relationship management, systems, power procurement and development

 

Sales targets Achievement

 

  1. Develop wholesale market and B2B segment businesses for key direct prospects covering sales, revenue and target
  2. Develop FTTx expansion strategy
  3. Contact potential prospects to build robust sales funnel
  4. Track personal and report sales statistics and report on status of pending contracts for personal and team targets
  5. Support the team in closing high value business deals

 

Customer ‘s Satisfaction

 

  1. Conduct courtesy calls to high value corporate customers to check on their requirements & solve their issues
  2. Make sure team visit customers and communicate with them regularly  
  3. Equip the sales channels with a consistent sales process of engaging with customers

 

 

Managerial Responsibilities

 

  1. Provide guidance, instruction and direction to team members
  2. Assign roles and work load distribution, setting objectives
  3. Plan and organize the work of team members
  4. Provide needed development for team members (coordinate with direct management and HR)
  5. Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members
  6. Manage team’s performance (Performance appraisal is part of this cycle)
  7. Act as a point of reference for team in issues related to company strategy and direction (top down approach)
  8. Assure that all his/her team members are following the policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct
  9. Set the policies and procedures for the JV company
  10. Manage the administrational requirements of his/her team (Attendance, Job Description…)
  11. Set the JV company strategy in alignment with the company strategy and direction
  12. Cascade the strategy into departmental plans
  13. Accountable for the JV company performance and targets achievements
  14. Retain talents and recommend actions with low performers

 

Requirements :

 

  1. Education:      Bachelor Degree  in Business Administration or any related field, MBA would be a plus
  2. Work Experience: a minimum of 10 – 15 years, 3 years of executive role
  3. Direct operational experience in P&L management of B2B / Enterprise channels.
  4. Direct operational experience in wholesales services
  5. A track record of developing Sales strategies for all segments
  6. Demonstrate strong technology literacy
  7. Strong track record of people leadership and working in a Group/Operating Company matrix
  8. Strong consultative and influencing skills are essential for success in the role
  9. Knowledge of: 
  • Telecom industry
  • FTTx technology and implementations, Transmission Networks, Data Network, Fiber technology, sales, wholesale, B2B, and marketing

 

Skills IN:

  • Risk Management: Risk assessment techniques, Mitigation techniques, Risk probability and estimation
  • Selling Techniques: Consultative Selling, Negotiation techniques, Deal structuring, Persuasion and Deal closing, Cross and up selling techniques
  • Customer Care: Problem solving techniques, Agent utilization tools & techniques, Customer care channels, Customer care applications, Lead generation and referral
  • Good command in MS Office applications
  1. Excellent command of English language writing and speaking
