Our Client , A retail medical leader in Qatar that have a wholesale business, as well as, chain of retail outlets, is looking for Budgeting Manager   to be based in Doha – Qatar and reports to Head of Finance

 

Purpose :

Managing and coordinating financial planning, budgeting and analysis activities for the company and ensuring that they are implemented according to set policies and procedures. Prepare and reviews budget reports and assist other departments to prepare annual budgets

 

Key responsibilities :

  • Managing and coordinating the financial planning, budgeting and analysis activities for the company and ensuring that they are implemented according to set policies and procedures.
  • Managing the development, maintenance and installation of an effective and efficient budgeting system.
  • Developing budgeting guideline, forms, time schedules and assumptions as well as administering their submission to the relevant Departments.
  • Managing and coordinating the process of consolidating the company annual budget, including challenging the budgets submitted by functions, solving inter-company problems, reviewing the reasonableness of the assumptions and submitting it to the management in a timely manner.
  • Developing monthly and annual variance reports between actual and budgeted figures and obtains justifications on large variances.
  • Ensuring monthly performance management reports showing key performance indicators, trends, and comments on Actual vs. Budget variations and risks as well as areas that require management attention.
  • Presenting financial analysis and explanations on the company growth, financial stability, and profitability through the use of financial ratios and comparative figures.
  • Performing any other duties as requested by the Head of Finance

 

Skills /Qualifications / Experience :

Skills: Audit, Legal Compliance, Documentation Skills, Attention to Detail, Reporting Research Results, Thoroughness, Presentation Skills, Financial Software, Corporate Finance, Advance Excel, Financial Modeling IFRS Rules, Objectivity.

Qualification: 5 years of relevant experience preferably in retail domain
